How do I place an absentee or telephone bid?
Yes, we do accept absentee and telephone bids. Please call us a few days before the auction closes to set up absentee or telephone bidding. You can download the Absentee Bid Form on our Online & Live Auction pages.

What are the seller fees if I decide to sell at auction?
    Lots selling between $2,500 and up = 10%
    Lots selling between $500 and $2,499 = 20%
    Lots selling for under $500 = 30%

If I choose to have a reserve price, are there any additional fees?
There is only a fee for having a reserve if the lot does not sell, a reserve bid charge of 5% of the reserve price will be charged (minimum charge of $100). We suggest lots with estimates under $500, not use a reserve price.

How do I get my Art to Region Fine Art?
You are responsible for getting your Art to us. If you are able to deliver to the gallery in person than please do so. If not, you will need to ship the piece(s) to us. We also suggest buying the added insurance to insure if the piece becomes damaged or lost.

-How can I make a payment?
Payment can be made by Cash, Debit, Certified Cheque, MasterCard, Visa, Bank Wire Transfer, Etransfer, or PayPal. Payment must be made in full the day of the live auction. Payment for online auctions is due within 48 hours of invoice being sent.

- Are there any added costs for winning lots at auction?

Yes, A Buyers fee of 18% is added to the hammer price of all lots sold at auction. This premium is payable by all purchasers (No Exceptions).

What Taxes do I need to pay?
A Goods and Services Tax of 5% is charged on the Hammer Price and Buyer's Premium on all lots sold in Canada. An 8% Provincial Sales Tax will be charged to Manitoba Residents.

How do I receive my artwork?
Once payment has been made in full, please pick up your property or arrange shipping with R.F.A. staff.  Artwork left with Region Fine Art after a sale is left at the purchaser's risk. Items not picked up on the day of the auction will be held with R.F.A. until shipping arrangements have been made. After one month if the artwork has not being picked up, monthly storage fees may apply.
